Not just a fun activity for babies to enjoy with their caregivers, early exposure to music education has been shown to play a vital part in child brain development.

Music classes are key to improving language and reasoning, literacy development, and pattern recognition skills in toddlers and babies. In addition with dance and movement, which develops and fine tunes motor skills, these classes are also a wonderful opportunity for both the caregiver and baby to form stronger bonds through the joy of music.
Our Pre-K classes are broken into three groups; Teeny Weenies, Tapping Tots, and Mini Musicians.
Teeny Weenies
0 – 18 months
A 40 minute class introducing babies to music through sensory playtime experiences, nursery rhymes, percussion play and more. A special time of bonding for both the caregiver and baby.
Tapping Tots
18 months – 3 years
A 40 minute class developing toddlers’ natural love for music through group singing, percussion play, clapping, dancing, sensory play, and more. Parental interaction plays a key role in developing their sense of security within a group environment, and encourages their creativity to flourish.
Mini Musicians
3 – 5 years
A 45 minute class exploring basic concepts of music (pitch, duration, dynamics, texture, structure and tone colour) through musical games, vocal exercises, rhythmic percussion, dancing, and more. Caregivers are welcome to participate or just watch, however caregivers must remain in the room for supervision during class time. If your child is more comfortable with you joining in, you are more than welcome to participate!
